“Do it together”. No combination of words can describe better the spirit of being part of this generation, which is creating this new decade Now, playing the year of two thousand ten in their tip of their fingers, coming and going for each corner of the world without much effort nor money. I do not know, but maybe because of the internet, the zeitgeist our times must have something to do with Connectivity, the Interactivity and Mobilization.

From one night to the other, between the blink of an eye and another, everything just became easier to do together. It became easier to relate, to evolve, to dive deep into any path, traced by natural destiny. All that, pure poetry.

In any other moment of history, we would have never been able to make this Lisztomania video. First because it hardly existed another decade in history with such a spectacular Music such as the one we can listen today. Second of all because without the internet, we would have never mobilize so many people to be part of such a non-sense video like this one. Not with the time that we had. Not in a city like Belo Horizonte.

On Tuesday, the sixteenth of November, five days before the Phoenix concert in “BH”, two people suggested via Twitter that iLoveBubble should make a Brazilian version of the Lisztomania mobilization that is going on around the world (click here to see it). On that same night, we watched to the videos of San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro and Amsterdam on YouTube. On the seventeenth, we invited some people on Facebook to dance. On the eighteenth and nineteenth we went out to shoot at the touristic spots of the city. On the twentieth we edited (and went to Sao Paulo for the Planeta Terra Festival).

On the twenty first a part of this video was broadcast on two giant screens at Chevrolet Hall, minutes after the band went on stage. Thomas Mars watched it. And, together with the three thousand people on the floor, he read: “We are gonna make the largest Lisztomania mobilization in the world…now!”

Night after night without sleep, editing and cutting, developing and modeling, here is the final video of everything that happened in Belo Horizonte at the end of the November of 2010, days after the first summer of this decade. Here is our thanks to everyone who danced or tried to dance or regret not to have danced. Also our thanks to Henrique Chaves, from SleepWalkers Productions, that reveled himself as a lunatic and fomenter of the weird culture of our times. Do it together. Nenhuma combinação de palavras consegue descrever melhor o espírito de ser parte desta geração que esta começando a construir uma década Agora, tocando o ano de dois mil e dez com as pontas dos dedos, indo e voltando para cada canto do mundo sem precisar de muito esforço e dinheiro. Não sei, mas talvez por conta da internet, o zeitgeist deste tempo só pode ter a ver com Conectividade, a Interatividade e a Mobilização.

De uma noite para a outra, entre um piscar de olhos e outro, ficou tudo mais fácil de se fazer junto. Ficou mais fácil de se relacionar, de se envolver, de mergulhar fundo em quaisquer que seja o caminho traçado pela ordem natural do destino. Poesia pura tudo isso.

Em qualquer outro momento da história, nós nunca teríamos conseguido construir esse vídeo de Lisztomania. Primeiro porque dificilmente existiu outra década na história com uma Música tão sensacional como a que podemos ouvir hoje. Segundo porque, sem a internet, nunca conseguiríamos mobilizar tantas pessoas para participar de um vídeo sem muito sentido como esse. Não no tempo que tivemos. Não em uma cidade como Belo Horizonte.

Na terça-feira, dia 16 de novembro, 5 dias antes do show do Phoenix em BH, duas pessoas sugeriram pelo Twitter que o iLoveBubble fizesse uma versão brasileira da mobilização de Lisztomania que está acontecendo no mundo (veja aqui). Na mesma noite, assistimos aos vídeos de São Francisco, Rio de Janeiro e Amsterdam no Youtube. No dia 17, convidamos algumas pessoas no Facebook para dançar. Nos dias 18 e 19 saímos para filmar nos pontos turísticos da cidade. Dia 20 editamos (e fomos para São Paulo assistir o Festival Planeta Terra).

Dia 21 um trecho do vídeo foi transmitido nos dois telões do Chevrolet Hall, minutos antes da banda subir no palco (veja como foi a mobilização). Thomas Mars assistiu. E, junto com as três mil pessoas que estavam na plateia, ele leu: “Vamos fazer a maior mobilização de Lisztomania do mundo…agora!”

Noites e noites sem dormir depois, editando e recortando, tratando e modelando, eis aqui o video final de tudo isso que aconteceu em Belo Horizonte no fim de Novembro de 2010, dias antes do nosso primeiro verão desta década. Fica nosso agradecimento para todo mundo que dançou, que tentou dançar ou que está arrependido porque não ter dançando. Fica nosso agradecimento ao Henrique Chaves, da produtora SleepWalkers, que se revelou um grande maluco e fomentador da cultura estranha do nosso tempo.
